Is there a way to add trail conditions with a date for the update? So when we go to a trail we can report back to other users weather the trail is good to ride.
Agreed--this wiki is fantastic, and adding a trail condition option would make it even better. I see that some folks have used the discussion page to add conditions info. I wonder if that's the best solution, or if it wouldn't be better to have something on the main trail page? Seems like if it were a category of its own it would be much easier to search based on trail condition.
Also, how about adding the ability to attach a GPS track to a trail page?
- That's a good idea! What sort of categories do you think we could use to describe the conditions? (ex. muddy, wet, ridable, buttery, etc)
- btw - I've been trying to allow uploads of gps files but have so far been unable to tweak the mediawiki software to allow it.

I think having the trail condition on the trail info page would be best. It keeps all the info in one place. I don't know if limiting the update to a fixed category is the best idea since allot of the trails could partly be ridable. So maybe letting people say that part of the trail is ridable would be grate. As for the GPS tracks thats all was cool and i like that. I just don't have one yet so it doesn't help me much. There is post on MTBR about this. So if you can get conditions part of it working there might be allot more people that will use the site.
Here is the thread if you want to check it out or post up and talk to the guys your self.
